It's a long weekend, in theory we should have  a little bit more time to have fun in the kitchen! Although we labeled this Cooking with Kids, all of these recipes are kid friendly to make together BUT even more fun to eat together!!

Aren't these fun Easter food ideas fabulous? We can't lay claim to these but our fabulous online friends sure can. Make sure to visit their sites to check out all the details!

peeping pancake

I can hardly believe how hilariously cute this Peeping Pancake is! What a fabulous way to start the day - with a scrambled egg chick hatching out of its pancake eggshell. Brilliant from this creative mama from Kitchen Fun with my 3 Sons.

Naturally dyed eggs are also very pretty and yummy. Add in a seasonal Bunny cookie cutter and you've got yourself an Easter breakfast like momstown Ottawa had!

egg salad

How's this for inventive? It's an Egg Salad Carrot!! The carrot is crescent dough formed into a tube, baked and filled with egg salad!

egg bento

These lunch egg cups remind me of mini Bento boxes - such a convincing way to present lunch to our little ones!

deviled eggs

Deviled eggs anyone? Peep Peep!!

bunny smores

Easter treats are always top of list but what about these Bunny Smore Pops? A different idea and who doesn't love marshmallow, graham crackers and chocolate? Visit here for all the directions to make these at home!

Kraft Canada has great ideas in their Easter Centre and these yummy Chocolate Haystack Nests are no exception!

Have a terrific holiday with your family and enjoy time in the kitchen with your kids!
